Introduction Cihan Selcuk
Cihan Selcuk is the owner of Selcuk Tax Consultancy. He discovered his passion for soccer at the very age of 6 and pursued his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. At the age of 19, he played for 1. FC Union Berlin via the club stations TeBe Berlin and Hertha BSC. In order to build up a second mainstay, he began a dual course of study at the HWR Berlin in 2009 in the field of taxation and auditing, in parallel with soccer.
Due to severe injuries, he had to give up his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. This turn in his career helped him to discover his new great passion – the passion for tax consulting and management consulting!
In 2013, he successfully completed his dual studies at the HWR Berlin in the field of taxation and auditing. After 7 years as a tax consultant in a renowned international tax firm in Berlin, he successfully passed his written tax consultant exam in 2019 and was appointed as a tax consultant in early 2020. Shortly thereafter, he was appointment as a junior partner in an internationally renowned tax firm in 2021.
In 2022, he saw the opportunity to use his knowledge and many years of experience to establish a tax consultancy office that matched his own ideas – young, modern, innovative, and close to the client. Therefore, he decided to become self-employed and founded Selcuk Tax Consultancy. All in all, Cihan Selcuk can now look back on more than 10 years of professional experience and he has acquired expertise and specialist knowledge, particularly in the fields of corporate tax law, international tax law, and real estate tax law.
